One of the biggest indoor adventure parks in Europe is located in Tartu, Estonia. We were discussing Skyvelo attraction, which is monorail and it is totally different solution from adventure park. I will write about that Skyvelo attraction in another blog post. Anyway, we found out that the Skyvelo attraction is a bit complicated in our climate – season is very short and for that reason we decided to develop an indoor solution and perfect place for that was “dead space” 12 m high, above the ice rink. This scale indoor adventure park on that time was unheard of, but we decided to go for it. We got really inspired by the location, frames and the project, it took us 1 month from idea to finish. We did all the building work at nigh time, when the shopping mall was closed. It was a quite a challenge, but definitely worth it. Even now the staff from shopping centre is amazed and happy about solution that we came up with. Everybody wins – the parents with the kids visiting shopping mall (kids are climbing when parents are shopping), shopping centre wins otherwise dead space above ice rink is now an attraction, and we won, because everybody liked our solution.
